ReStore Donations

We take most items that you would install into your home that are in good, working condition.  

Please do not drop items off when we are not open.

ALL donations must be received by a ReStore employee.  We have redesigned our donation area to help serve you better.  Our new and improved drive-thru donation area is set up to make it easier for you to drop off your generous donations.  Feel free to call ahead if you have any questions about this at all.  530-895-1271.

 

We accept:

Appliances

Ovens, stoves, range tops and microwaves in clean working order with all knobs, handles and cords intact.

Washers and Dryers in clean working order with all knobs, handles and cords intact.

Bathroom fixtures - low-flow toilets, sinks, and shelving with no chips or cracks.

Cabinets and vanities, cabinet doors and drawers - un marred and no stains.

Carpet - new or in near like new shape only. 

Counter tops - new or near new only.

Décor

Doors - in good condition, no major cracks, holes, dents.

Electrical Supplies

Garden Supplies - Hoses in usable condition, planters, pots, pavers, etc.

Hardware - sorted nails and screws only, no jars of random screws/nails

Heating units - safe working order with all parts intact.

Lighting - clean with no chips, cracks or missing parts.

Lumber - stick lumber must be more than 3' long, sheet lumber must be more than 9 sq. ft.  No rotten lumber.

Paint - We can take usable paint as a donation, and we work with Paintcare to recycle bad paint.  All paint that comes in must have a label on it and not be leaking or we won't be able to take it.  If you have really bad paint please contact the Household Hazardous Waste facility in Chico at 1-866-429-2288.  If you have questions about your paint or paint related product feel free to call!

Plumbing supplies

Roofing

Sinks - no rust, cracks, chips or discoloring. 

Tile - in lots large enough to complete a small room.

Tools - power tools in good working order and cords intact, antique tools, hand tools, etc.

Windows - dual pane only unless for special application.

Vehicles - Donate your car, rv, boat, motorcycle, running or not through the Habitat for Humanity Cars for Homes Program

 

We do not accept:

Any item in poor or dangerous condition

Mattresses and box springs

Lumber with excessive nails

Ceiling fans

Vertical Blinds
