2009 Projects
Ceanothus Ave.
In partnership with Bidwell Presbyterian Church, Habitat for Humanity of Butte County was able to build a new home on Ceanothus Ave. This lot, along with one next door, was donated by Tony Symmes of Aspire Homes. Bidwell Presbyterian Church has raised the money and the volunteers to complete construction on this new home.
Kevin, Sherrie, and Karson Frazier received the keys to this 2 bedroom home October 24, 2009.
Kevin and Sherrie worked along side the Valladares Family to fulfill their sweat equity hours. Daisy, Jesus, and family will be moving into the Women Build house on 16th street when they have completed their hours.
Habitat Greens
The first Women Build house was completed almost 2 years ago but could not be sold to a family until properly mapped through the City. We completed this process and the Valladares family was selected last spring. They completed their 400 sweat equity hours while working on the Ceanothus house and moved in just in time for Christmas! Congratulations Daisy & Jesus!
