We maintain a variety of committees that need volunteers who have relevant experience in one or more aspects of our work and are passionate about helping families obtain safe affordable housing. Resource Development Committee:

This committee oversees fundraising activities and helps plan events to ensure funding goals are met for the organization.

Construction Committee:

This committee is responsible for site selection, organizing builds, and coordinating with build sponsors.

Homeowner Selection Committee:

This committee meets to facilitate the application process for selecting partner families for each Habitat home build. Commitment includes several weekend and evening meetings over a 10-12 week period.

Family Support Committee:

This committee is responsible for communicating with partner families during construction and at least a year after they have moved into their home to ensure they are adjusting to home ownership.  They also are responsible for developing and presenting financial and home ownership classes.

Public Relations Committee:

This committee helps to prepare a marketing plan for the organization including print media and TV advertising and to help promote special events.
