Habitat for Humanity of Butte County remains grounded in our mission: bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope. That work continues to guide everything we do, and our commitment to local families remains as strong as ever.

We are building meaningful momentum across our programs, continuing to partner with future homeowners and expanding access to affordable homeownership opportunities throughout our community. With each home, we are investing in stability, opportunity, and a stronger future for Butte County.

As part of this forward focus, we have made the decision to close our ReStore to ensure long-term sustainability and align our resources with the areas of greatest impact. The ReStore will close to the public on June 18, 2026.

We are incredibly grateful to the shoppers, donors, volunteers, and staff who brought the ReStore to life. Your support has played a meaningful role in helping more families achieve homeownership and build brighter futures.

The Restore:

• Offers affordable prices and a diverse inventory of new and used home improvement products
• Serves the community through partnership with PaintCare, a stewardship program that recycles unusable paint
• Generates critical revenues that are used to provide safe, affordable housing options for local families
• Provides on-the-job training in partnership with local employment programs and community service opportunities to volunteers
• Helps to deter usable items from the landfill
