About Habitat for Humanity:

Vision: A world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Mission: Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. We welcome people of all faiths and no faiths to participate.

All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people. In short, we welcome volunteers, supporters, employees and future homeowners from all backgrounds regardless of race or religion.

Habitat for Humanity of Butte County’s goals are to build 6-8 homes annually for the next 10-15 years. We partner with future homeowners to build safe, affordable homes and remove barriers to homeownership. Future homeowners contribute time, skills and commitment alongside volunteers and staff, and purchase their homes with affordable financing. Affordable homeownership creates opportunities for stability and long-term financial independence.

Habitat for Humanity of Butte County (Habitat) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
