“I was living paycheck to paycheck to pay rent when everything I had was lost in the fire. I don’t have anything to show for it. Habitat has changed our lives. We are so thankful to be where we are. Habitat gave us hope after losing everything. There are so many areas in my life that having an affordable mortgage will help me with. Even the little things, like I’ll be able to have a garden. “

“Knowing that I have this opportunity to provide for my child is overwhelming. It makes me feel like I’m a true parent. We’ve had so many blessings since starting with Habitat – it makes me want to cry. We want to give a humongous thank you for being a program where families can have these opportunities. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

“Affordable housing has given us the opportunity to stay in the town we love, ensure our children grow up with their same peers. We’ve been able to take our girls to volunteer events in the community so they can learn about giving back and appreciate what we have. An affordable mortgage takes away our worries so we can focus on our dreams for the future.”
