Habitat for Humanity of Butte County

Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

A hand up, not a hand out!

A hand up, not a hand out!

Financial classes provide tools and training to help Habitat families better administer their resources and save for the future.
Efficient money management means meeting daily needs, as well as coping with emergencies or unexpected opportunities that arise. The training classes offer participants basic, fundamental tools about careful money management. It helps them to prioritize expenses, create a family budget, develop good credit ratings, and create a savings plan for home improvements.

Thank you to Dan Bequette who has volunteered to teach the Habitat financial classes for the last five years!
